FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Starting a new career or looking for training providers to help you add to or improve your skills can be daunting.  With so many schools and academy's now available to choose from it is difficult to know how to find the right training academy for you.  We pride our selves in high quality private training using the latest products on the market and the most up to date techniques.  Working in such a fast paced Industry it is important that you are up to date with the latest trends and beauty products.

Can I do treatments on the Public?

 

Yes.  Once you have successfully completed your course, been certified and have the relevant insurance you can work with members of the public.  

 

Are my Qualifications Accredited?

Our courses are Accredited through Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT)

All training is delivered by fully qualified insured tutors with small class sizes or private one to one training ensuring you receive quality tuition.

Will I be able to Get Insurance? 

Yes, full advice on Insurance and your Insurance options will be given on your course.   

Do I need a model?

Yes, if you are attending a private One to One course you will need a model to do your practical training with.  Your model will only be needed for the afternoon section of your course, timings can be obtained from your tutor when booking your course.  

If you are attending a group course you will not need to bring a model as you will practise on each other.

Do I need to have any beauty or holistic qualifications to do a course?

Most of our courses are for beginners so no previous experience or qualifications will be needed. Selected CPD and advanced courses will need prior qualifications or diplomas however you will be informed of this when booking your courses.

Do I need to bring any kit or product with me to my course?

You will not need to bring any products or kit with you to your course unless you have booked for a specialised course where a kit will be essential for you to continue to carry on the treatment at home.  These courses are mainly Lash and Nail Courses.  You will be advised if a kit will be required for your course and it will be ready for you on the day of your course to use during your training.

Will I need to do any Case Studies?

We do require case studies for selected courses.  These are specified on your course details when looking at course information and requirements.  Case Studies can be emailed to us and we will work with you to ensure you understand how to carry these out in a professional manner.

How old do I need to be to do a course with you?

You are able to train with us from the age of 16

Do you offer Support once my course has ended?

Yes, we offer full after course support so you have someone you can contact if you have questions regarding your treatments and training once you start seeing your clients.  

Can I bring my child with to a course?

Unfortunately we do not allow children to attend courses with you.

Do you offer payment options or help with course fees?

We are unable to offer any discount or help with course fees however are aware that some government agencies do offer subsidies to assist you in training to get back to work.  You can contact your local job centre for more details.
